European Film Promotion in support of Busan International Film Festival
For 20 years, from the very launch in 1997, European films and talent have been given an exceptional home at the Busan International Film Festival. The caring attention, knowledge of and devotion to European Cinema of acclaimed festival directors Kim Dong-ho and Lee Yong-Kwan have made the festival what it is today, one of the most important annual film events in Asia where European talent may flourish and get its deserved attention by Korean audiences and the industry likewise.
European Film Promotion (EFP) has been a dedicated partner of BIFF for these past 20 years bringing a diversity of new, exciting, art-house driven European Cinema to South Korea. It is the pioneering spirit of the festival that has created a strong position for our talent and built a bridge between artists and industry professionals. The Management and the President of European Film Promotion reach out to BIFF in support of and commitment to festival director Lee Yong-Kwan. We want to keep on Opening Doors at BIFF.
