Korean filmmakers decided to boycott this year’s BIFF

Comprised of nine major filmmakers’ associations in Korea, Korean Film Group’s Emergency Committee for Defending BIFF’s Independence announced on April 18 that they would boycott this year’s BIFF.

Each member association of the committee conducted a survey about boycotting the event, and over 90 percent have agreed not to attend BIFF unless Busan Mayor accepts the following demands:
